See Through

I think this is a very visually intriguing piece. I really like the layered effect you have with the colors and shading. The color scheme in general works quite well, with one nitpick I'll mention below. You've done a lovely job defining the contours and volume of the face while still keeping it a bit abstracted.

For critique, there are really only a couple things I have to point out.

One is that the person's right (our left) eye looks to be protruding out of the face. I think it's because that side of the face is completely in shadow, but it looks like the eye is jumping off the face. If the eye were darker/less defined, or if there was a fain outline of that side of the face that would help.

The other think is the pink part of the eye. While I like that you've included that detail, the pink looks a little out of place with the rest of the color scheme. You've got some grayish-red colors in other parts of the picture, maybe that would work better?
